Welcoming Our New Resident Teacher

The Board of Directors is delighted to announce that Geshe Tenzin will be joining our community as a full-time resident teacher, starting on September 1st.
Geshe Tenzin comes to us from the esteemed Drepung Loseling Monastery, where he completed his Geshe degree, the highest level of monastic education in the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism. He has spent the last decade teaching Buddhist philosophy and meditation in centers across North America and Europe.
His deep wisdom, compassionate presence, and clear teaching style have inspired countless students. We are incredibly fortunate to have him guide our community in our study and practice.
Please join us for a formal welcome ceremony and reception on Saturday, September 7th, at 2:00 PM. This will be a wonderful opportunity to meet Geshe Tenzin and hear his first teaching at our center. We hope you will all be there to extend a warm Nanaimo Wedo welcome.
